Privacy policy
This policy explains how I process the personal data of people who visit this site and of people who write to me through the contact form, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data I collect
- Contact form data: first name, last name, email, company (if you enter it), the situation you choose and the description of the project.
- Technical browsing data: the service that hosts the site automatically logs data such as IP address, browser and requested pages, to make it work and protect it from abuse. The function that receives the form uses the IP address only in memory, to limit repeated submissions, without storing it.
- Visit statistics: with Just Analytics, a tool of my own hosted on Netlify, I collect aggregate data on how the site is used: pages viewed, referrer, device type and browser, approximate country. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not keep your IP address.
Please do not enter other people's personal data or special categories of data, such as health data, in the form.
Why I use it
- To reply to your request and, where it makes sense, set up a call and propose a first step or a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To run the site securely (technical data). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (visit statistics). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), with data that does not identify you.
First name, last name, email, situation and description are needed to reply to you: without them I cannot get back to you. The company is optional. I do not use your data for newsletters or advertising and I do not sell or pass it on to anyone. I do not make decisions based solely on automated processing.
Who processes it on my behalf
- Netlify, Inc. (United States), which hosts the site, the function that receives the form and the visit statistics.
- Resend, Inc. (United States), which delivers the form requests to me by email. The request does not stay on the site: Resend only keeps the sending log, for the period set by its service.
- Google, which runs my email inbox: requests arrive there and I reply to you from there.
Data is transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as adequate on 10 July 2023.
How long I keep it
Form requests and the emails that follow are kept for as long as needed to reply to you and at most 12 months from the last contact, then I delete them. If we work together, from then on the contract and the privacy notice that comes with it apply. Technical data is kept by Netlify for the period set by its security rules. Visit statistics are aggregate data that does not identify you.
Cookies
The site uses no cookies and stores no data on your device. Visit statistics work without cookies: that is why you do not see any banner.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR), by writing to danielebelfiorepc@gmail.com. I reply within one month. If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
