I'm Daniele Belfiore and I have been writing software since 2012. I started at INFN, the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics, with cloud monitoring systems and authentication through SPID, Italy's public digital identity. Then I built .NET business software at Umbra Control.
For seven years at Agricolus I led a team of 10 on a microservices platform used by 1,000 companies. In my latest role, at Fractal Cloud, I owned the backend architecture on AWS, Azure and GCP, also as Product Owner.
A Product Engineer is someone who looks after a whole product, from the idea to production. That is the work I do.
