From scratch
A shared shopping list PWA, from idea to production

The problem
People who shop as a couple or with flatmates usually rely on a note on the fridge or a chat full of "did you get the milk?". I wanted a shared list you can use with one hand, in the aisle, with poor signal.
What I did
- I built a PWA you install on your phone, without going through the app stores.
- Changes reach everyone else in under a second and the list stays usable without a connection.
- Sign-in with Google or with an email link, no passwords.
- Products grouped into 15 aisles, in the order you meet them in the supermarket.
- Automatic releases, with a dedicated pipeline to roll back if something goes wrong.
- Unit, end-to-end and accessibility tests that run on every change.
The result
The app is in production and I use it every week.
